Come Learn to Play the Flute in Central Park, FREE!

New York City, New York, Saturday April 2, 2010 – Flutopia will be hosting their annual “Learn to Play Flute” event from noon to 6:00 pm. Flutopia invites New Yorkers of all ages to come learn how to play the flute in Central Park for free. A tent will be set up on the corner of Amy Ave. and Donner Dr. Flutopia is a flute shop that offers merchandise as well as flute lessons to the public. In operation for the past 50 years, Flutopia is dedicated to giving back to the community.

New York native, Jane Doe, comments, “I have come to Flutopia’s event for the last three years with my kids. I love the sense of community it builds.” Come get to know your neighbors while enjoying a new pastime. Music is a great outlet from the stresses of daily life. Flutopia wants everyone to enjoy the flute for it’s many wonders. This event has had great success in the past. Over 1,000 people attended last year!

All skill levels are welcome to come and enjoy the fun. Professional flutist, Amy Morris, comments, “Even as a professional, there is absolutely something new to be learned at Flutopia’s event.
